Fantasy Football Week 6 is here. Fixing your fantasy team is hard at this point in the season and trying to tinker with the tight end position in your fantasy football league or on your salary cap team can be very frustrating. Especially when the performance of an elite tight end varies more than any other position in fantasy football. Therefore, I am here to help you decide which Tight Ends are the best plays this week, and fortunately for you, fantasy league people, most of them can be found in waivers this week. The match-ups in Week 6 of fantasy football just happen to work for some of the mid-level tight ends, and that means you can pillage the free agency market for some last minute tinkering.

As for the upper-tier tight ends, thus far this season (Antonio Gates, Jason Witten, Kellen Winslow, and Tony Gonzalez) they all have tough match-ups going up against teams that can guard the tight end position well, such as the Raiders, Patriots, and Dolphins. So that's why you find many of them making my fantasy rankings list this week, because they don't project too well against the safeties and linebackers they play.

1. Greg Olsen, Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings

If you do not think that a receiver can become a quarterback's favorite target off one big play, you are incredibly mistaken. Greg Olsen's big time catch in the end zone against the Green Bay Packers last week was huge for Brian Griese. Griese just threw the ball up and Olsen bailed him out. Olsen is stud tight end, and he seems to have recovered from his pre-season injuries. He is going to be a force in the league going forward, and I expect him to do some damage against a Vikings defense that cannot defend the pass for squat. He will score a touchdown and provide plenty of yards to give you the kind of fantasy football points from the tight end position that you have been looking for all season.

2. Randy McMichael, Miami Dolphins vs. Baltimore Ravens
