Quizno's is located at 1756 W Prien Lake Rd. Lake Charles, LA 70601 They can be contacted by calling (337) 562-7827.

There is also a Quizno's located at 4453 Nelson Rd Lake Charles, LA 70605. They can be contacted by calling (337) 480-1779.

Setting:

When you first walk into the restaurant the walls are subtle enough, but you do realize the colorful decoration. The walls are painted light orange, light yellow, and dark blue. They are made of panels and they are never the whole wall as the décor always changes with the panels. There are even fake posters painted on the walls that seem to be advertising items. The words painted are a mix of English and Italian. One of the panels even has artwork depicting different meats, vegetables, and cheeses.

There are two different types of seats. Both of them are at tables. There are chairs that are lower and have a hard seat with a back. Then there are stools that are almost like bar stools, but they have padded seats. These seem to come in two different colors: dark reddish/maroonish and dark blue.

Of course, there is the ordering section. The food is behind a plastic window, and it is hard for people who are under 5' to see.

Service:

Quizno's is mainly a self-serve restaurant. You do place your orders up at the counter. Since the sandwiches are made right when you order, it is easy to special order sandwiches. The sandwiches are toasted unless you request that they are not.

As for side items, you can order them as well. If you order chips, you simply choose the type of chips you want yourself. You also serve yourself your own drinks. Located near the drinks are pepperocinis, banana peppers, and jalepenos to put on sandwiches.

Sandwiches are served in trays that look like the Quizno's Q. Of course, the speech bubble used by Quizno's also looks like their Q, so the trays also look like the speech bubble. The trays are lined with paper as well.

Quizno's asks that the trays are returned and not thrown away just like any restaurant would ask of their trays. These trays are served on regular red rectangular trays, too.

I got turned off from Quizno's after they had the commercials with the singing rats. Sorry but just could not bring myself to eat there anymore after that.

I love Quizno's. If you eat there regularly ask for a card...every so many stamps you get a free sub. I love anything free (almost anything).
