Software Review - Microsoft Student with Encarta Premium 2008
Microsoft has put its best foot forward and developed the perfect application for students. Microsoft Student 2008 is the absolute pinnacle in teaching and tutoring software which can only serve to enhance your child's
learning experience. I have been using Microsoft's Encarta for years, but with the release of Student 2008, I am simply amazed. This is a suite of software that every student should have at their disposal.
Tools such as Microsoft Encarta Premium edition are an invaluable resource for your child's study needs. Microsoft Encarta is an encyclopedia, which covers everything from early civilization to current events, and many other topics in between. Encarta is searchable making topics easy to find and the user interface is simple and user friendly, as you would expect from Microsoft products. This is a great study aid which can help any student excel in their studies.
Microsoft Student includes a vast array of pre-made templates to assist your child in creating perfect book reports and presentations. Student 2008 also includes tutorials which will guide your child through the process of creating their book reports. Not only will these tools improve the quality of your child's school work, but it will also produce results that your child will be proud of.
Math is a subject which many students struggle with and Microsoft Student includes an absolutely awesome math tutor program called "Microsoft Math." Microsoft Math is a math tutor program which is unparalleled by any other that I have seen. It offers step-by-step walk through instruction of mathematical equations. Microsoft Math also includes 2D and 3D graphing for complex formulaic calculations, and with the save feature you will never lose your work again. The math program also includes online help, which is a wealth of information and covers every math topic under the sun.
