Wilton is one of the premier names in cake decorating and baking accessories. This Halloween saw the debut of the Happy Haunters series of accessories; it includes decorated cupcake boxes, baking cups and more. The theme is extremely festive and colorful; the plaid style background showcases the witches, spiders and cats featured in the foreground. Because there are so many colors to the pattern you can use these with other Halloween themes with no problem. If you are into having on solid theme then there are more than a few Happy Haunter items to choose from. The baking cups come in two size, the standard two inch size and a mini one that is perfect for making tarts or mini cheesecakes. These come fifty to a pack and look great no matter how you decorate them. If that weren't enough there are also cupcake boxes that will accommodate one or four cupcakes or muffins. These are a little on the expensive side but if you want to throw a Halloween bash that won't soon be forgotten, these are a nice thing to have on hand.
I wasn't going to buy the lollipop mold but reconsidered when I saw it in the store; it has the characters from the Happy Haunters line including the bat, cat, ghost and spider. You do need to invest a little bit of time into the various colors that are used for them but you could just as easily fill them with one color of chocolate and be done with it. If you are going to get the mold you will need to get lollipop sticks; Wilton makes these in cardboard as well as in plastic. I like the plastic ones a little more because they are in orange and black instead of plain white.
Packing up snacks is never a problem if you invest $1.99 in the party bags; they are a great way to stack cookies up or spoil your favorite trick-or-treater. They come with twist ties and will hold a good bit of candy, cookies or treats. Last year they introduced a lot of new things for Halloween, the foil picks that can be used on top of cupcakes, muffins, brownie or cake were a nice addition to the series. This year they released a set for this theme and they look very cute when added to any food item or as an accent for a centerpiece.
