The Sexiest Woman Alive is... Well, for 2007, according to Esquire Magazine, it's Charlize Theron. This was just revealed to us, after a series of hints came over weeks for us to guess who she was. Charlize Theron is the Sexiest Woman Alive for 2007. She has all the looks, glamour, style and the body to pull it off.

So my question is, is Charlize Theron really the sexiest woman alive? Was Scarlett Johansson the sexiest woman alive in 2006, and was Jessica Biel the sexiest woman alive in 2005? Or is there more to it.

Everyone knows it: sex sells. This is evident in billboard ads across the continent and globe, as well as magazine covers and the choice for models and television actors. The gossip column tells us all about these hotthrobs, and top internet searches go to the sexiest scandal.

When coming up with the sexiest woman alive, magazines and news-sources often use the woman's outer appearance to make the decision. It's all about having an incredibly fit body, with all the right attributes in all the right places. Maybe we want a hot blonde with a barbie doll makeup, or a brunette with long hair and just the right curves. However it's tabulated, the physical attributes play a high role.

My thought is that this isn't what all that makes a woman sexy. There are many other factors. Here are my top ten factors for what we should use to decide who should go on these top ten lists...

1. Strives to improve herself. Take a woman with a poor beginning, who actually makes something of herself. She starts from scratch and goes to great measures. This makes a woman sexy. A woman whose parents had no money, and she worked her way through law school to become something- that's sexy.

2. Stands up for what she believes in. This is hard to do. Many women will keep silent about their true beliefs, or will just let them go by the wayside, when issues come up. A sexy woman will tell you that she is against the war, even if it's not a popular thought at the time.

3. Works hard. There is nothing sexier than a hard-working woman. Men, you have to give credit to a woman raising three kids by herself and working two jobs. This requires passion, strength and true dedication.
