You've probably been watching a lot of TV lately with the change in commercials for Subway restaurants where the people in the business meeting were making cracks when the guy was taking their order like the woman who said "Can I have the if my butt can't look any bigger combo" and the other woman at the table said "Can I have the extra tight pants combo" or the most hilarious line the bald guy says "Can I have an order of please keep your shirt on". Do those words ring a bell when you see a lot of seriously overweight and obese Americans? That's a clear sign that we have a problem in America when 1 out of 5 people you pass on the street are in fact morbidly obese and you see them everyday riding scooters because they're so heavy that many of them can't even walk on their own. What is disturbing is how people are pushing for FAT acceptance when the problem is when does accepting someone being fat also places risk to one's health? It doesn't shock many that most of the morbidly obese are dealing with food issues and it's clear they have a problem when you see them in fast food places loading up on enough food to feed 4 regular size adults or several children. The problem is that portion control is off the charts because you have people who are morbidly obese ordering all kinds of stuff that isn't healthy for them to eat and in such large quantities. According to an article in a magazine called Extraordinary Health Registered Dietitian Dawn Thorpe Jarvis with 27 years experience with nutrition and diet she claims "It's sad to reflect on the diet and nutrition of Americans over the last 20 years that has lead us as a country to a downfall of overweight and obese living". Many diseases that are attributed to being severely overweight and morbidly obese are as follows: type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, hypertension, coronary heart disease, and stroke. Various types of cancers have been attributed to the morbidly obese because those who are significantly overweight can lose the weight a lot faster than someone who's morbidly obese.

Did You Know?
If blacks and Hispanics don't start exercising and changing their diets the current obesity rate will become a pandemic problem that can't be stopped.
