Christmas Crafts for Kids

The Christmas cookie gift bags are an inexpensive craft that you can make with your kids or even do in your classroom. These are fun to make and simple enough for virtually anyone to make. I've even known adults that
used these to give cookies as office presents and secret Santa gifts. This is a wonderful Christmas craft that is fun for virtually everyone!

Home-made Christmas cookies

How to make it Christmas Cookie Gift Bags:

The first step to make your Christmas cookie gift bags is to open up the lunch bag so that you can be certain that it is not stuck together before you begin the craft project. Sometimes lunch bags can have holes or be stuck together on the inside when they are manufactured. If any of the bags are like this, go ahead and toss them and use ones that open up nicely.

Next, you need to close the paper bags and fold bottom the of the bags against themselves. You want the bottom of the bag flat and not sticking up. You can line up several bags on the table to do at one time that way you have an assembly line going for your Christmas cookie gift bags.

Now you need a small hole for the top of the Christmas cookie gift bags that you will later place the Christmas ribbon. In the center of each of the lunch bags you have on the table, use the hole puncher to punch a hole in the Christmas cookie gift bags.

To decorate the Christmas cookie gift bags, use the red Christmas paint on the circle foam stamp. You can either paint the stamp itself or you can put the red Christmas pain in a flat dish or bowl to dip it in. Stamp the red circle around on the bag until it looks nice. If by chance there are any gaps in the foam stamping, just fill them in using the paint brush and the red Christmas paint.

Instead of telling people to "toss" the bags that won't be used how about saving for other uses. Or at the very least recycle them.
