Decorated Halloween Pumpkin
This is a free Glastonbury Halloween event for children ages between 4 and 14. Each child is asked to carve their own original pumpkin at home and bring it to the Riverfront Community Center where it will be judged in a number of categories. Categories include scariest, most original and funniest. Besides the contest there will snacks and Halloween games. To reserve a place call 652 7679.
Cooking Over the Coals
This fun fall event for families takes play on Sunday October 21 at 1 pm at the Welles Shipman-Ward House on Maine Street, Glastonbury. The event included games, animals, music, apple dipping and colonial crafts and trades. If you would like more details on this event call 633 6890.
