The Escali Primo Digital Multifunctional Scale is really a wonder apparatus that has astonished me with its simplicity. This has a deceptively simple look and in fact the operation is also effortless. There are not many user friendly measurement scales with such an easy functioning. This is amazingly designed with no unwanted extra fittings. This has only those parts that are essential for measuring something. I am not a technology savvy guy and hate tuning and winding keys and knobs while setting the scale. The Escali has just two switches. It seems this is exclusively designed for layman like me with little knowledge in measurements.
Since this is a digitally controlled machine all the readings are displayed in decimal and not fractions. I hate fractions since school days and it is not a joke to sit and convert them while serious cooking. What amazes me is that this easy on the pocket device gives accurate measurement just like any technologically advanced gizmo. I was wondering whether this cheap scale is reliable and dependable at all times. Before settling with this I cross checked the readings exhibited on the Escali Primo with the conventional weighing balance. This is a steal for $24.

The scale is designed in such a manner that even negligible amount of weight is also read with exactness. The readings can be noted down in ounce or pounds or grams. When switched on, it gives the measurement in the scale that has been set previously. I am totally satisfied with this equipment and it has replaced the pile of measuring spoons. Even if you forget to turn it off, it automatically gets switched off to extend the battery life.
