Supplies For a Homemade Ghost:
- some old newspaper ads or notebook paper
- skewers (wooden kind for grilling)
- white fabric or any other color you want to use
- scissors
- hot glue gun and glue sticks
- paper plate (for setting the glue gun on, you can use anything that won't burn for this)
- black marker for drawing eyes or googly eyes (optional)

Instructions:
Plug your hot glue gun in.

Take one piece of the newspaper ad or notebook paper and wad it up into a ball. Lay aside.

Take one skewer and cut off about 1/3 of it, the end that is pointed. Hang onto the end you cut off, we'll use it later. Go ahead and cut more if you're making more than one.

Lay out your fabric and cut out a square from it. If you're making more than one, go ahead and cut as many pieces as you need. The squares don't have to be big, about 6×6 in size. I eyeballed it.

Take your wad of paper and one cut skewer (the longer piece). Stick one end into the middle of the ball. Take your hot glue gun and put glue all around the stick that is in the paper. You want to make sure that the stick isn't going to come out and the paper isn't going to fall off. You might have to glue some of the paper down as well to make sure it stays in a ball.

Once that's dry, lay one fabric square on the table and put the top of the ball of paper in the middle of the fabric square. Gather the fabric around the ball and hold it tie to make the head of the ghost.

Make sure that the stick is still pointing up. Pull the fabric down while still holding onto the ghost at its neck. You want to be able to see the paper inside and the fabric around it.

Take your glue gun and put glue inside between the paper and the fabric. Grab one of the extra pieces of the skewer that you cut off and use it to press the fabric into the glue so you don't burn your hands. Continue around the neck part until it's all glued down.

When the glue is dried, turn the ghost over and if any fabric needs tacking down, put some glue on the fabric and use the skewer to press it down.
