How many times have you been to a holiday party where everyone was drinking wine and spirits? If you're like me, and don't drink alcohol, this can be frustrating. Even if you're throwing your own party, you may want to serve something special, but don't want to serve alcohol. Of course, if you do drink alcohol, you should also be courteous of your guests and offer an alcohol free drink that is special enough for the holidays. The following are several alcohol free options for several different holidays.

Alcohol Free Holiday Drinks for Halloween

Halloween is such a delightful holiday. The weather is crisp, but not too chilly to where you can't enjoy the outdoors. Whether you invite your guests to join you on a hayride or have a Halloween party at home, there are several alcohol free drinks that are perfect for this holiday. First of all, hot apple cider makes the perfect alcohol free drink to enjoy on hayrides. Just heat the cider with some cinnamon sticks and whole nutmeg and pour the cider into thermoses. Another great option is hot white chocolate. You can even make this alcohol free drink fun for the kids by adding some food coloring to make it orange or green. If you want something cool and refreshing, why not serve sparkling apple cider?

Alcohol Free Holiday Drinks for Thanksgiving

The above drinks would also work well at Thanksgiving. But, there are other alcohol free drinks that would be perfect for this holiday as well. First of all, sparkling cranberry juice is the perfect substitute to sparkling wine. Another fun option for kids is pumpkin juice. Kids will love this because it's what Harry Potter drinks. You can find several recipes online for this holiday drink. One last idea is to serve coffee with a praline flavored syrup or coffee creamer. This would go perfect with a slice of pecan pie.

Good article. Many people often centre parties around alcohol, but that doesn't take underage or teetotal people into account. Sophie

Great article topic. We don't drink either, but have learned to enjoy the sparkling juices, in fine wine glasses to celebrate the holiday.
