Some of these you may heard of others maybe not. They each seem to be interesting in their own right.
University of Northern Alabama in Florence:
Off Campus Bookstore - According to legend the bookstore use to be a home. A little girl who was a only child had resided there with her parents. One day they had given her a gift of a puppy for her eleventh birthday. She had contracted rabies from the pet and died shortly thereafter. It is said that years later this residence had become a frat house. A lot of reconstruction had gone on in order to do so. As they say about spirits they just do not like change. During a homecoming parade persons had noticed a little girl looking down out of a window near the balcony. The building now is a bookstore. Staff at the bookstore claim to hear noises late at night and as far as it is known only one person has seen the little girl. Now depending on which version you find the age of the child is either 11 or 5.
Most sites that carry the store state she was eleven years old.
