5. Scaffold Match
In a scaffold match two wrestlers have to fight each other on a scaffold and the winner must throw the loser off the scaffold. Scaffold Matches are very boring because the wrestlers are high up in the air and move very slowly and cautiously. There are also no ropes to bounce off of which eliminates most running moves. Basically nothing really happens in a Scaffold Match.
4. Evening Gown Match/Tuxedo Match
The Evening Gown and Tuxedo Matches were created for "entertainment" purposes unfortunately I'm entertained by wrestling. In Evening Gown Matches and Tuxedo Matches wrestlers tear each other's clothes off and the first one to tear off the other person's clothes wins. These matches have very little wrestling and neither wrestler has to actually beat anybody to win.
3. Mud Match
The Mud Match is another match that was supposedly created for entertainment purposes. Two people, usually women, fight in mud. Of course these women usually have no wrestling ability to begin with so they become even worse when it's too slippery to even stand up. They basically just flop around like dead fish in the mud but I guess some people like that.
2. Lumberjack Match
The Lumberjack Match is possibly the most boring gimmick match. The idea is that two wrestlers have a match in the ring while other wrestlers stay outside the ring and make sure neither man tries to run away. It doesn't sound like a bad idea if the two wrestlers had an actual match and the lumberjacks simply kept them in the ring but for some reason a Lumberjack Match always breaks down into a really bad wrestling match with a screwy finish.
