I wonder why the wholesome and the superrich protein hemp cultivation is not legal in most of the countries. Thanks to Ruth's for providing authentic high quality Hemp fortified with sprouted Flax and Maca. Before trying this I was on Nutravita Hemp as suggested by my doctor. But later I switched over to Ruth because this is a perfect three in one health powder available at incredibly low cost.

The only hitch with this powder is that it has a strange earthy smell and this may not be accepted by those who are used to nutty and other appetizing flavor products. Initially I found it unpalatable and used to gulp it down for the sake of the health benefits derived from it. This is in fact a powerhouse of energy giving nutrients, vitamins and minerals. In course of time I got used to it and started accepting it because it is hard to find a substitute for this Ruth product. Now in order to mask the weird taste I add a dash of honey, freshly chopped fruits, nuts and soy milk. This is not overly sweet and if needed top it with artificial sweetening agents.

The main reason why it tastes weird odd is because it is not processed like mouth watering fast foods or pastas and it is for the same reason why it is so nourishing. As the food gets processed along different stages, the taste gets enhanced, but proportionately nutrients are also lost. This is a completely natural powder with no artificial agent added to it to make presentable. I add it along with other flours while making pizza and baked items. If added in small amount you will not be able to find out the taste and at the same time it serves good to body. You can also add the flour while making smoothies and run it in a blender to make it smooth.
