Halloween Events for Children in Oakland #1 High Seas Halloween A Safe Family Adventure

You ready to go on a high seas adventure? Lake Merritt Boating Center Dock is hosting a safe Halloween event on October 26th through the 28th. Tours leave at 6:30 pm, 7:00 pm, 7:30 pm & 8:00 pm. YOu'll be a part of the crew as you search for Long John's treasure chest, filled with gold! Children 12 and under are $3 dollars, Adults are $5 dollars and you can charter a private boat for up to 20 people for $75 dollars. This event will be located at 568 Bellevue Ave Oakland, CA 94610. Halloween Events for Children in Oakland #2: Wizard Day Halloween Party at Chobogwarts

The Chabot Space & Science Center is having a Wizard Day Halloween Party on October 20th from 10 am to 4 pm. You can come dressed as your favorite wizard or any other magical character. You will be able to make your own wizard hat, visit the leaky cauldron, see goblet of fire demonstrations, participate in hands on activities and much more. Halloween Events for Children in Oakland #3: Boo at the Zoo

On October 27 and 28 from 10 am 3 pm, the Oakland Zoo is having a safe Halloween event called Boo at the Zoo. There will be a parade, a Boo Choo Choo Train, trick or treating and even a scavenger hunt! Children in costume will receive one free ride coupon. Regular zoo admission is required. Children under 2 are free, children 2-12 are $6 dollars and adults 13-54 are $9.50. Seniors admission is $6.00. For more information, call (510) 632-9525. One thing you need to make note of,is that the zoo can't accept bills over $20 dollars so make sure you have smaller bills when you go.
