The first place an individual should look for flu shot immunization is at his or her respective employer. Many companies offer on-site free immunizations for employees. Contact the particular company's on-site medical center for details.

The next step is to check with your insurance carrier to see if flu immunizations are covered, if there is a copay required and the preferred service locations. Also, check to see if the service is offered by your family physician. Please be mindful that children only 6 months of age or older can be vaccinated.

Dallas County Health and Human Services is now offering flu shots to all adults. Shots are given from 8 am to 4 pm. Monday through Friday at 2377 N. Stemmons Freeway, Dallas 75207. The cost is $20 dollars. Call 214-819-2162 for further details.

The Passport Health Center located at 12810 Hillcrest Road Suite B131 in Dallas at area code 75230 offers flu immunizations. The next available dates are October 29th from 12-1:30 pm and November 3rd from 10am-2pm. The vaccine is priced at $23 dollars at this flu clinic location. Call (469) 241-1954 for scheduling an appointment or for any further concerns.

The pharmacy department at Tom Thumb grocery stores also offers flu shots. Find the nearest location to your home in the Dallas area. Contact the pharmacy department of that store for availability and cost of the service. The following link can also be used to assist you in your search http://www.tomthumb.com/FluShots.asp

Contact the pharmacy department in drugstores such as Walgreens and CVS for flu shot immunization info as well. Flu shots at these pharmacies can range from $23-25 dollars. The flu clinics at these locations usually run through mid November.

For all the Costco lovers contact the warehouse of your preference for dates and times for flu immunizations. Each flu shot costs around $18 dollars and no insurance is accepted except for Medicare Part B.

Good information-wonder why the low rating-since it was a "call for content" article-it's sad if those who wanted the article and didn't get it are down rating-at least someone had to give you a page view to down rate.
