An Overview of the 2008 Honda Accord

The 2008 Honda Accord has been revamped for the 2008 model year with more horsepower and a new design. There are three main choices to pick from including the LX, EX, and EX-V6 models. All models excel in gas mileage, exterior and interior styling, and
safety. When purchasing any Honda vehicle you can be assured of their great reliability and performance for the money. Also, they hold value better than nearly any other manufacture. I will take a look at some various aspects and features of the 2008 Honda Accord, and compare the different models.

First, let's take a look at the LX model Accord. This comes with the 2.4 liter engine, which puts out 177 horsepower and 161 foot pounds of torque. This engine can be coupled to either a five speed manual or automatic transmission. You have the choice of either 16 inch wheels with covers or alloys. Highway gas mileage is rated at 31 miles per gallon for either transmission. Some standard features include: remote entry, power windows, cruise control, air conditioning, telescopic and tilt steering column, tachometer, side curtain airbags, stability assist with traction control, tire pressure monitoring system, and much more.

If that's not quite enough for you, then you might want to consider the EX model. The EX comes with either a 2.4 liter engine producing 190 horsepower and 162 foot pounds of torque or a 3.5 liter V6 with 268 horsepower and 248 foot pounds of torque. Seventeen inch alloy wheels, larger front brake rotors, a security system, heated side mirrors, and power driver's seat lumbar support are some of the upgrades all EX models receive.
