If you are like most of the young college students and recent graduates today then your schedule is thrice booked everyday and you still do not have time for everyday maintenance like brushing your hair. You probably only get the chance to see your old high school friends or the ones you have made in different classes in college during Thanksgiving break, between semesters, or during spring break. This, of course, really sucks because you can have so much fun when friends get together. Until your lives get to a more settled point and there is more time to spend together you need to make the most of the few days a year when you can all make it to the same spot at the same time and just chill out for a few hours.

So you have done the impossible and gotten your group together. What do you all do now? It is always great to get together with friends and enjoy a good meal. The person hosting the get together should make the main course as they will have the right equipment right there. Some easy ideas for large groups are baked chicken parmesan which involves chicken breasts, bread crumbs, and pasta sauce or casseroles like tater tot which is just tater tots, hamburger, and cheese. Both are easy to make for a large group and are crowd pleasers. To make it easier on the host and to help spread out the cost of this get together have each guest bring something as well. One person can bring the drinks, another can bring the salad, an easy side dish such as garlic bread or rolls can be brought and of course the dessert. This way everybody is involved and it is not too much work for the host. Make Jell-O shots for an added bit of fun.

The conversation should not be a difficult aspect as you are all friends that have not seen each other in a long time but if you should find yourselves at a loss for words you can always drum up conversation when talking about politics, religion or annoying parents. However, if you have a group of friends whose views are quite different then maybe you should avoid the hot button topics; you do not want to start a feud when you are trying to have fun!
