His Air-ness, Michael Jordan
Born on February 17, 1963, Michael Jordan was considered as a paramount figure in the realm of Basketball. Not only was he marked as the greatest basketball player of all time, he was also the reason of the rise of popularity of the NBA.
His career started when he joined the Chicago Bulls in 1984, giving way to 3-consecutive championship in 1991 to 1993. He retired on October 1993 and the reason maybe the untimely death of his father a year earlier. He later then joined the Chicago White Sox, and pursued his baseball appetite.
Jordan decided to return to Chicago Bull during the early 1995, and helped the Bulls win the play-offs in that season; earning another "three-peat" for the years 1996-1998, along with another star player, Dennis Rodman. He again made his second retirement in 1999 and became President of Basketball operations for the Washington Wizards.
Following his third retirement, Jordan enjoyed a quiet life. Continuing to endorse his Nike Air product, quite a popular footwear for basketball players all around the globe even now, and started his movie career as an actor in Space Jam. Now a retired basketball player, Jordan spends his time playing golf in various charity events, promoting his clothing line and starting up his motorcycle career.
How it all began.
Michael proposed marriage to Juanita Vanoy at Nick's Fish Market in Chicago on December 1987. Even though Juanita said her "yes" to the proposal, they called off their engagement and discussed it again after a year.
