Miss Vanessa Hudgens, the recent star of Disney's "High School Musical" movies, as well as a well-publicized debacle involving risqué photographs of her on the internet, has released a music video to go along with the release of her second album, "Get on it" to be released next year. Born December 14, 1988, the talented young actress has found acclaim in her youth, having been nominated for awards three times, and winning once. In 2006, she was nominated for the Imagen award by the Imagen foundation, as well as the Teen Choice award for "Choice breakout star." In 2007, she was nominated for the young artist award for best performance for her performance in the 2006 hit "High School Musical."

A running relationship with co-star Zac Efron has kept the media wheels buzzing, and chat rooms have lit up with activity concerning her off-stage life. In the world of celebrity divas, though, this young lady would appear to have her sense of propriety intact, despite any intercepted photographs. Comparing Miss Hudgens with stars such as Britney Spears, whose recent antics have once again attracted the media's attention, albeit not in a good way, or the ever primped strumpet Paris Hilton, is to do a disservice to the obvious level of talent that this young woman possesses.

Throngs of fans leave messages of support and love on the young actress' Myspace site, which gives room for her 500,000+ "friends" to give the moral support to every endeavor she undertakes, from her latest studio album to her relationship with HSM co-star Zac. She has this to say concerning her recent stardom, giving credit where she finds it most: "I am truly blessed by God and I cannot give my parents enough credit for everything. I think a lot of success has to do with karma and luck".
