For the third installment of the award-winning AC phenomenon known as Sportswriters, Experts, and Clowns, we thought we'd mix things up a little bit and do something different. Like lying about the fact that we've actually won some awards, for instance. Okay, that's about it.

But hey, we WILL be bringing you all the hard-hitting, metaphorically bone-shattering, ACL-tearing, achilles-shattering, edge-cutting sports analysis you've come to know and love.

At the end of the article, please let us know who gave the best answers. Rate each panelist from one to four points, with one being the worst and four being the best. Without further ado, allow me to introduce our esteemed panel:

Jake Emen is a freelance writer in the Washington, D.C. area. He enjoys martial arts, playing the guitar, dogs, and poker, often all at the same time as I understand it. The man leads an interesting life, what can else can I say.

Brian Joura is basically the anti-Shawn Kemp. He's only fathered two children to date, but hey, he's just getting started so stay tuned for updates.

Zac Wassink is the third member of our panel and an alumnus of THE Penn State University as he puts it, where he served as Joe Pa's chaffeur and personal assistant, charged with the all-important task of keeping his driving indiscretions under wraps from the general public.

Finally, there's me. I began writing in the womb, publishing a series of novels about my pre-birth experiences and winning my first Pulitzer at the age of 4 1/2 months. Since then, I've gone on to do nothing of note. Until now.

And now, we do what we do best. We debate.

1. How much of a chance do you give the Rockies against the AL winner?

Zac:

I think the layoff is really going to kill Colorado's momentum. Remember that Colorado isn't where they are because they were such a dominant team throughout all of 2007. The Rockies are in the World Series because they're one of the hottest teams in the history of Major League Baseball. Nevertheless I still think that they'll give either the Tribe or the Sox a great series. I pick the ALCS winner in six.

for Ac, WVU is better than KU with a healthy Pat White. KU has a really soft schedule this year, not having to play OU. I think Chase Daniel and Missouri rip them up in their last game of the season. Both Nick and Brian had good points about the Giants. 1.) The NFC is very weak this year, but the Giants have been playing well on both sides of the ball, and they have plenty of offensive weapons. No doubt Tom Coughlin is the x-factor. Interesting Read guys!

If I was Max Kellerman I'm probably giving the argument championship to Zac or Nick here. Some points from my perspective... Nick mentioned the Rockies pitching staff being inferior to the Red Sox, BUT the Rockies have actually been winning playoff games with pitching. They have a lower ERA by over a full run, a significantly smaller Avg and HR than the BoSox. Nobody mentioned Beckett as an X-factor and the way he has pitched this year. Shame. +1 for Jake's comment about 3 of the last 5 teams being a wildcard team. -1 for Jake wanting to rank UK higher. With Woodson's leadership, they are a BETTER team than they have been in years, and yes they beat LSU in 3 OTs @ home. They're still not an elite SEC team yet. +1 for all those that mentioned ASU lower as they really haven't beaten anyone and their schedule is about to get ridiculous with UCLA, USC, Oregon and Cal. I seem them winning maybe one of these. We'll see about Va Tech this week when they play BC. Oh and
