Bill O'Reilly is a political commentator,a best selling author and a syndicated radio host.He is the current host of the fox news channel program,The O'Reilly factor. Bill O'Reilly also host the The Radio Factor which is available on radio stations all across the United States.O'Reilly was born in New York City,NY and grew up in Long Island,NY.He attended a private catholic boys high school in Mineola in 1967.O'Reilly then attended Marist college and was punter for the national club football association.It was also around this time that O'Reilly worked as a columnist and feature writer for the school's newspaper.He was also a semi-professional baseball player,he played as a pitcher and even tried out for a pitching position with the new york mets but was unsuccessful.

Bill O'Reilly graduated from Marist college moved down to Miami,Florida.While in Miami he taught English nd History at the local high school .After a few years he quit teaching and moved to Boston,MA where he majored in broadcast journalism at Boston University.It was at Boston university where Bill O'Reilly truly began his media career.He worked as a columnist for several local newspapers and weekly news reporters.O'Reilly was also a movie critic for the Miami Herald.

Bill O'Reilly began his television news career as a reporter and weather man at a news station in Scranton,PA.O'Reilly worked at various TV stations doing various investigative reports around the country early in his career.He Eventually; got his own television program at a CBS affiliate in New York City,NY and was so well liked that he was quickly promoted to the network as a CBS news correspondent.O'Reilly was one of CBS's top reporters.A few years later he left CBS and joined ABC News as a correspondent.O'Reilly worked there for three years and moved on to the show Inside Edition.After a brief stint on Inside Edition,O'Reilly left and enrolled at Harvard University where he majored in Public Administration.
