Patients suffering from any form of cancer experience dramatic changes in their lives; physically, financially and emotionally. For some cancer patients, these complications arise and are usually support by not only family, friends and healthcare professionals, but also support groups and networks.

For some cancer patients, the support network is not so prevalent. In patients who suffer from lymphadenopathy, the risk for developing cancer is very low. However, while a rare occurrence, it is possible nonetheless. The great complication, however, is in making the diagnosis, treating the cancer and then finding the support network through it all.

Patients who present to the physicians office with complaints and symptoms of lymphadenopathy are usually not at risk for a cancer diagnosis unless they meet significant risk factors and criteria. Such risk factors and criteria most often includes age and presentation with complications indicative of lymphadenopathy in the clavicle region.

If you are diagnosed with malignant lymphadenopathy, it is important to not only establish your emotional and financial resources but also to establish a great healthcare team to manage your physical symptoms. Since the complications of malignant lymphadenopathy present as night sweats, fever and even weight loss patient who experience this rare form of cancer require support just as if any other cancer was at issue.

There are many support systems available for cancer patients but very few focus upon the rarest forms of cancer, like that found in lymphadenopathy. If you, or someone you know, is suffering from this form of cancer, it is important to find the support and networks in your community. Because the cancer can develop in any area of the body, your complications may be vastly different from another lymphadenopathy patient, but support is still essential.
