If you choose a piece of fabric that you like for your color scheme, you will want to bring out the colors into your room by using paint and other items that carry the same colors as your fabric. This will bring the room together. If you don't use fabric you may want to use an area rug as your color scheme. The list can go on and on. What ever object you choose for your color scheme, make sure it has colors in it that you will be satisfied with in your room. You can use these colors from the object you choose to create colors for the walls, floor, furniture and other furnishings though out your house.
You can use a different color scheme for every room in your house. Every room should have a dominant color that will make each room unique and give it its own personality. If you blend certain colors though out each room of your house it will make the rooms match together from one room to the next. Try putting your favorite colors in the rooms that you use most often. Pick colors from a color scheme that are comfortable and soothing to you. If you prefer bold colors that stand out go with warm colors that will make the room feel comfortable. If you are using several different colors for the color scheme in your room. Apply these colors to the curtains, pillows, rugs and other areas in your room for a pop of color. The color scheme in a room can make each room in your home interesting.
