How's your team going to do during this upcoming season? Is your team destined for another last place finish or will they be the team that surprises everyone and soars through the playoffs? Check out my review of each Eastern Conference team and see if my predictions fall in line with the teams you know and love.

Atlantic Division:

1. Boston Celtics - The addition of Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen paired with the return of Paul Pierce spells success for a team that had a disappointing year last season. These three players should combine with a formidable supporting cast to provide the Celtics with an explosive offense. However, the Celtics must learn to mesh as a team in order for the talent of their individual members to generate victories. Look for the Celtics to go deep into the playoffs if the team works well together.

2. New Jersey Nets - The experienced play of Vince Carter, Richard Jefferson, and Jason Kidd will lead the Nets to successful season. Although these players are not in the prime years of their careers, they certainly have enough firepower to win a lot of games. Staying injury-free will determine much of the Nets' success.

3. Philadelphia 76ers - The emergence of Samuel Dalembert as a premier center greatly helps the 76ers in their quest for a title. The all-around play of Andre Iguadala and Andre Miller's knack for passing will also help lead this team to a good season. The 76ers must ensure that team play stays central instead of letting individuals take the spotlight.

4. New York Knicks - Although the Knicks have the desire of young stars like Nate Robinson and David Lee, I think they will have trouble working as a team to achieve victory. However, the acquisition of Zach Randolph should provide this team with a high-scoring big man, something that the Knicks needed last year.

5. Toronto Raptors - Chris Bosh has become one of the NBA's top players and the growth of players like Andrea Bargnani and Jorge Garbajosa will help the Raptors. However, I believe the Raptors will still struggle to win a lot of games as they lack another big scorer outside of Bosh.

So exciting, after many down years, to see the Celtics win. The nucleus of Allen, Pierce, and Garnett will lead to another championship in Boston, the new City of Champions! Yowzah!

Congrats on getting featured on the front of sports. And I gotta say, I think Celts will have chemistry - Garnett and Allen are good guys that will do what it takes to win now, including leading the team in the locker room.
