Ever since I was a young tot, I remember brushing my teeth with Colgate toothpaste. My dentist recommended it, my parents liked it, and Mighty Mouse used it. If it was good enough for Mighty Mouse, it was good enough for me. I have had a love affair with Colgate toothpaste ever since. This article will explain why I love my Colgate Total Whitening toothpaste.

One of the things I really liked about Colgate to begin with was the taste. It was not a strong peppermint taste, like other toothpastes had. It did not feel gritty on my teeth, like other toothpastes. To this day, I can be assured Colgate is still like that. At least, the ‘original’ variety is.

My Colgate Total Whitening toothpaste has many features. The dispensing tube comes in different sizes. There is a convenient travel size, which is very nice. It fits remarkably well in the travel pouch I carry in my overnight bag. For at home uses, there also are larger sizes that are more economical.

The labels are varying colors and designs depending on the flavor chosen. It seems that throughout the years the Colgate name uses the same font and coloring on the box labels. The same coloring (as that found on the box) is on the tube. At least, mine is white printed on a red background. My Colgate Total Whitening toothpaste has labels that are easy to see and read.

In fact, the packaging is great for my Colgate Total Whitening toothpaste, as it is for all varieties of Colgate. It is difficult to get the different flavors and features confused with such distinctive coloring and printing. I love the Colgate boxes.

My Colgate Total Whitening toothpaste is available in either a gel or paste form. It is a matter of personal preference. The paste variety is how it all started. That is what I prefer and use to this day.

My Colgate Total Whitening toothpaste claims to remove surface stains from my teeth when used as directed. I will not argue with that statement.

Takeaways
  • Colgate stands up to its claims.
  • Colgate is very consumer oriented.
  • Colgate is recommended by many.
Did You Know?
There is probably a Colgate toothpaste variety for everyone.
