The Backstreet Boys are back again, this time minus member Kevin Richardson, who retired from the group following their last album, Never Gone. Nick Carter, Brian Littrell, AJ McLean and Howie Dorough are back with their new album, Unbreakable. Are the Backstreet Boys, now men, truly Unbreakable?

The Intro features some classic acapella crooning by the Backstreet Boys. The song shows that the boys can still harmonize but they are missing the bass part from former member Kevin Richardson.

The first single off of Unbreakable is the extremely catchy pop song Inconsolable. The track was produced by Emanuel Kiriakou and written by Emmanuel, Lindy Robbins and Jess Cates. Emanuel Kiriakou is best known for writing and producing What's Left Of Me for former 98 Degrees member Nick Lachey. The song is the perfect track to reintroduce the group to the marketplace.

Everything But Mine is a synth heavy dance track produced by Dan Muckala. The song is definitely not what you would expect the current day Backstreet Boys to be doing. The song seems more suited for a younger artist however it is a good track.

Something That I Already Know is a classic Backstreet Boys pop-rock ballad. The song is co-written by proven hit-makers Kara DioGuardi and David Hodges. The song sounds like it is ready for radio. The song is a big ballad and what we have come to expect from the Backstreet Boys in recent memory.

Treat Me Right is written by Backstreet Boy member AJ McLean and co-written and produced by JC Chasez from boy-band N Sync. Who would have thought in 2007 former arch rivals would be making music together? The song is one of the most interesting on the album. The song is catchy and different from what you would expect from the Backstreet Boys. The song features very interesting melodic structures and vocal arrangements.

Helpless When She Smiles is produced by hit-maker John Shanks famous for his work with Kelly Clarkson, Ashlee Simpson and Michelle Branch. The song is another solid pop song.
