Sounds pretty darn good, huh? I saw one of these types of advertisements as a Google Ad and decided it was to time to do some investigation.
If you know me, you know that I'm very skeptical about any program that sounds to good to be true, and this advertisement fit the bill perfect.

To start my investigation, I needed to find out exactly what the heck "Rebate Processing" entails. Supposedly, as a "paid rebate processor" you are supposed to be doing various forms of "data entry".

PROBLEM #1 - So I'm trying to find out where I can sign up to be a paid rebate processor and I keep hitting brick walls. The majority of the sites that offer rebate processing jobs don't actually even offer any jobs period! They want you to buy a publication to learn how to get into the field of rebate processing. This scenario is about the same as me going to my local grocery store and asking for an application to be a cashier and the store manager telling me "You have to buy this paperback book about getting a cashier position before we can give you can application" - it makes absolutely no sense.

PROBLEM #2 - Guess what?! I finally found a job that doesn't require me to buy anything to start working as a rebate processor. For about 10 seconds I see a glimmer of hope - but, it was a quick 10 seconds. Check out how this job works:

The rebate company (your employer) claims that they will PAY YOU $20 for every $10 rebate you send. OMG, right? If it takes you approximately 6 minutes to send each rebate, and you are making $20 per rebate, you would be earning $200 AN HOUR! I'm not a calculus teacher and I really never made it past advanced algebra, but $200 multiplied by 8 hours in a day and five days a week should equal $8,000 a week. So why the (profanity) has my father worked at Ford Motor Company for the past 30 years when he could be doing at home rebate processing?!
Back to reality - here's the catch...wait, "Catches":

I have been scamed also by angel stevens. I asked for a refund. I hope I will get it. You can do the same thing that they say to do by going on paydotcom and signing up with them for free. But you will have to do a lot of work.

Thank you for your comments, let me guess Angel Stevens right?. It looks like we were taken in by the same suspects. We have not shelled out the money for the personal tutor. I couldn't get a straight answer whenever they kept asking me the question am I serious about making money, I kept saying cut to the chase__how much they kept changing the subject. I've sent them emails asking for the info. processing rebates at home. I paid $197 dollars for. They send other useless material but no mention of a refund or the information. Thank you for the warning . 7/23/08

I fell for the scam Process At Home, I called to get the information first thinking I got lucky and found something legit. Some foreigner is on the other end and tells me I will have to wait 24- 48 hrs to receive info to process. I am feeling like I have been scamed so I called the Credit Card company and they have charged my card already! I called to cancel both the Process at home and find there is another account open RebateMillionaire which is 89.00 per month web site . I have not got my refund number yet, the phone keeps hanging up, they hear me, but they don't. I used 3 different phones in my house 2 cordless and a land line and none of the techs. could hear me. New scam, they say they can't hear you so they don't have to refund your money.

Thanks for the post, I was doing my due diligence prior to sending any money. I found you guys , thanks. Remeber , "If it sounds too good to be true , I probably is". Always investigate ! Reading the disclaimers is scary enough. They are responsible for NOTHING.

If you have not yet notified your credit card company for a dispute RE" SCAM, do so immediately. Then call 800-785-8042, you will get someone who barely speaks english. Inform them that you have already notified your credit card company to file a dispute and that you insist on a refund because this transaction is nothing but a scam. The person on the line will tell you that your refund will be credited within 5-7 days. She will then tell you that she is going to let you speak to her supervisor to verify the refund. Dont bother staying on the line the supervisor never shows. My amount was returned to me account the same day. I also received a call from another company listed as the success team, whom i am sure are the same individuals. The want you to take money from your credit card and invest in companies to make money. Be smart, hang up on these people.

I was lucky enough to get my refund. I spoke with my credit card company as soon as I realized this was a scam. I called the 800-785-8042 and told them that a dispute was filed and that I was a aware this was a scam and fraud. I spoke with a lady who could barely speak english. She stated the refund would take 5-7 days and then said she was directing me to her supervisor who never showed. I did receive the credit the very same day. I have to change my credit card number to assure no more charges would be made. Good luck.

I too have been BOMBARDED with emails from both ANGELLA PENBROOK AND ANGEL STEVENS. I kept wondering since this business was introduced to them by someone 'legally, then why do they need to charge for the same information if other people need it too? Times are hard, Gasolene is 'almost out of everyone's reach, not to mention food is almost at the stage of being rationed and these'HIGHWAY ROBBERS ARE STILL ALLOWED TO ADVERTISE AND CON PEOPLE ON THE INTERNET! I am very 'peed off' as I fell for a scam like this last year. i had been receiving emails (not in my junk folder) from DATAENTRYBUSINESS.COM. Everyday I would recieve at least 4 or 5 emails explaining the 'golden opportunity' that was passing me by in entering data on some form and making $500 - $1,200.00 a week fro doing it. Foolish me feel for the scam! i paid me $49.99 to join and was greeted with 'junk'! I was also instructed to open accounts with Google and Yahoo for something called Ad Words, open an account with 'Click-

This reply is to the Penbrook Employee........ I feel you are just as guilty as the 2 white rich greedy boys who are driving their expensive cars, YOU are contributing to their illegal scam/s. If your post is legit and honest, and you have this info on these scammers, then you need to take action and do what is right...BUST them out!!! My personal opinion, your a scammer too...and from reading ur post, you all need to be jailed for this kind of conduct/scam!!! Shame on you for taking honest, hard working, low income families, someone on disability money/monies, whatever there case may be! God will deal with you all, in time! Lets see how how you look when the shoe is on the other foot! There has to be an end to this scam, and if anyone can do it...It would be you...You are the one who has the info on these guys! If, you have a heart and compassion for others...Turn them in!

When is this person going to be arrested. She has another site for rebate processing. websaveronline.com. You can call the number they give you for a refund. You get a person that does not speak good english. Then she tells you she will let you speak with her advisor and then no one comes to the phone. They say the refund will be credited in 5-7 days. You get a noreply response.
