A lot of the things that we hear about celebrities really stink. This celebrity is getting arrested for driving while intoxicated. That celebrity was seen showing her private parts to the paparazzi. What we do not hear much about is what various celebrities do with their spare time that leaves a sweet scent in the air.

Harry Slatkin is a home-fragrance entrepreneur and president of Home Design for Limited Brands, which is the parent company of Bath & Body Works. Mr. Slatkin has taken it upon himself to work with various celebrities to produce candles, diffusers, and various other scented products that will be sold with part of the proceeds going to charities.

Sir Elton John, who is known for his tireless efforts to raise money to help support AIDS victims, has been working with Harry Slatkin to develop a home fragrance collection that is inspired by the gardens on his luxurious country estate in England, thus the title of the collection - 'Estate'. The scents will combine various mixtures of crushed fig leaves, apricots, white nectarines and cassis, roses, orchids and musk scents. This is the second time that Harry Slatkin and Elton John have worked together to create a home-fragrance collection, and ten percent of the sales of these products will be used to benefit the Elton John AIDS Foundation. The Elton John AIDS Foundation was established in 1992 to help make emergency funds available for the most basic needs in areas that have been hit the hardest by the epidemic disease. Some of the funds also go towards trying to counter ignorance about HIV/AIDS by spreading information. The 'Estate' collection will be available at Bath & Bodyworks and is expected to rake in millions of dollars in sales.

Harry Slatkin is also working with Sarah Ferguson with her tea-inspired fragrances. Sarah Ferguson's fragrances include mandarin green tea, green tea and mint leaves, white tea ginger, rose ginger and bergamot. Part of the proceeds from the Sarah Ferguson line will go to benefit the Sarah Ferguson Foundation, a nonprofit organization that that was established in 2006 and that helps the forgotten children around the world.
