Hollywood film producer Mark Koch seemed like a success in the eyes of the world in 1998. He had two top ten movies at the same time-Lost in Space, which made $300 million world wide, and Black Dog. The problem is his Hollywood lifestyle and the parties he attended caused a strain between him, his wife, and children. He and his wife were separated. It was only after he became a believer in Jesus Christ that Mark Koch, the big time Hollywood movie producer's marriage was restored, and he felt true fulfillment in his life. Today he works to share his faith with others by using the talents he has already used in his chosen profession.

He recalls now that his family life was "just a mess." He says even though he "had money," and was "at the top," it was all over. He said even though he had gotten to the top in his chosen profession, he looked down at his life and had "nothing."

Mark Koch, the big time Hollywood producer only found fulfillment through faith in Jesus Christ after attending a far more important meeting than a meeting with movie executives. He went to a church at the invitation of his wife, Stephanie, and a close friend.

Koch says that during the church service, he felt as though the minister was preaching directly to him. At that time he believed that Jesus Christ was God's Son Who died on the cross to save him from his sins and rose again from the dead and asked God to change his life completely. He feels now that his prayer was answered.

The unusual thing was that although Mark Koch, the big time Hollywood producer, had peace and a restored marriage, because of his faith in Christ, things didn't go as he planned. People started bring lawsuits against him, related to his work as a producer. Two stunt men who were in Black Dog were burned. He owned a scrap metal business that was making a profit, but became broke because of the lawsuits. McDonalds provided the family meal for the day often, because that was all the money Koch had. He couldn't get a low level position in a regular job, because of his reputation as a movie producer. Finally, he took a job as a used car salesman.
