Since January 2007, I have had nothing but problems with my hand and thumb. So around the end of April I really scaled back on using my computer. Then my husband got Shingles in April, and I was so blessed with a bad bout of Shingles, then physical therapy with my thumb, which didn't work, to surgery and quitting smoking all at once.

The gal at Smoking Cessation asked me if I every tried Aroma Therapy. I hadn't, so she suggested getting some Lavender in some form to relax.

Looking around for something Lavender I ran across the Softsoap Lavender & Chamomile. They always say Chamomile tea is relaxing. So why not give it a try.

The body wash is a Lavender gel that makes the bottle look like it is filled with tiny bubbles. Those tiny looking bubbles are actually moisturizing beads in it which made my skin feel really soft. It says on the bottle that the Chamomile and Lavender are natural extracts. I especially liked it because it is dermatologist tested and is soap free.

Kind of silly call it Softsoap, but it is soap free. I tried the body wash as a body wash but, found that the scent was just to much. I have allergies, and it just triggered it. Since I bought a 18 oz. bottle, I figured I better give it another try. This time I just squirted enough in the bath water to give it the scent of Lavender and Chamomile. Now this worked much better. I could use my milder body soap, but still relax and smell the lavender and chamomile, plus it left a light scent on my skin.

I suggest when buying any type of body wash, consider the scent and how strong it is. I usually have found out that, that is how it will smell on your skin. Lighter scent is a good rule to follow. I have also used a smaller empty Softsoap and filled it with the Softsoap Lavender and Chamomile Body Wash which we use for washing our hands.
With living on a Farm, I would rather smell the Lavender and Chamomile on my husband's hand; then the smell of manure.

Love the description; wanna try it. I never liked the taste of chaomile, but did pick the flowers and make tea for the kids. It did calm them, making it easier for them to wind down and fall asleep at night. The last time I was in NYC I bought some lavendar sprigs from a street vendor to bring home to my mom. She loved the scent and how I made use of her many tiny bud vases to display the sprigs in differnt rooms of her house.

Nice job. I love the smell of lavender. Our Yoga instructor puts lavender smelling eye bags on our eyes during our final meditation:)

Great review. Thanks. I've found, though, that most things we would normally use as bath bubbles causes me problems. One of my granddaughters used to get a bladder infection every time she came to our house and I let her use any kind of bubble bath. I finally learned that I can use good-smelling shampoos in my jacuzzi (not the hot tub, of course) and they don't seem to cause problems for anybody. I look forward to using the lavendar and chamomile for hand soap, though. Need all the help I can get.

Give it to kids. They'll have it watered down in no time.
