Cast your own shadow
On the barren ground below
And nothing will grow

I reached level ten
Yeah, that's right bitch, level ten
I think that's "pwnage"

If elves live in trees
And rabbits steal cereal
What would Jesus do?

Creativity
Never stops or drops or rolls
Very flammable

When the rain falls down
Do you stoop to pick it up?
You heartless bastard

Don't be serious
Serious people die first
Yeah, seriously

Like doomed Icarus
Our wings can often trick us
Fly Southwest Airlines

Sadness, cold, hollow
Whispers from places unseen
The world is empty

Shores welcome the tide
Waves lapping over pebbles
Never forgotten

Love is bitter-sweet
At once it is a hard stone
And tender as down

What is the answer?
Is mortality your dream
Or someone else's?

Yes, haikus are fun
But not always that simple
To write or to read

These should be published
And put on bulletin boards
In teachers' lounges

Handful of Haikus
