However, while there are many that will believe right away, there are yet others which will need to be shown the way, and the truth. What is the work of a man of God but to try and help a brother or sister to the Lord and a way more perfect? There are very few that will attempt to engage in this endeavor. Many times it may be that they feel they do not know enough, or they do not have the gift of speech, much like Moses. However, this is where we must trust God to do the work through us, and we do not need to fear what we speak when we follow after God and teach others to do the same. If you know that Jesus is Lord, then you know enough to plant, or water the seed of hope that we have in Jesus.
I have come across an article which struck me as very interesting. It is dated April 30, 2007 and appeared on the website, "Israel Today." The article states that a well respected Jewish Rabbi had written the name of the Messiah in a letter, and then instructed that the letter not be opened until a year after his death. Now, to Christians, the name of the Messiah comes as no surprise. It is indeed Jesus, although the name was written in the Hebrew form as, "Yehoshua." Of course, many other Rabbis are saying that it is not true, and that the letter was not written by Yitzhak Kaduri, the Rabbi in question.
This is of course, expected as Christians are aware, but it does serve to strengthen and give hope to those that believe on the name of Jesus. I am convinced that there will be other such events. I will never say that I am a prophet, nor would I pretend to be, but I feel that we will see many more proofs that Jesus is Messiah and it will be coming out of Jerusalem. These events will serve as a primer for the actual return of Christ to Jerusalem, when he takes his seat on the throne of David.
Has the Name of the Messiah Been Revealed in This Age?
Proofs of the identity of the Messiah will begin to appear, which will act as a primer for the return of Jesus.
