"Education" comes from the same Latin root as "educe"---to pull from within. That's one of the problems with public schooling outside of home, it teaches one that 'the gold' is OUT THERE; it IS, but that's not where it lives! 'The gold' is WITHIN THE MIND OF EACH STUDENT! I went to public school TO MEET OTHER 'EDUCATIONS' IN-PROCESS.

My wife and I, mainly my wife, home school our five children. I went to public school and would never wish that horror on anyone.
