Bravo's new show, Make Me a Supermodel, is based on the British show of the same name, where male and female models will compete for $100,000 and a modeling contract. Niki Taylor and Tyson Beckford have been selected as co-hosts for the new program. According to E!, Make Me a Supermodel will premiere early next year.

I think Tyson Beckford will make a wonderful co-host for Bravo's Make Me a Supermodel. Tyson Beckford was born December 19, 1970 in Bronx, New York. According to Wikipedia: "He is also reported to be one of the highest-paid and richest African American male supermodels in the world."

What I don't need an outside source to tell me is how gorgeous Tyson Beckford is. He is tall, dark, and has the chiseled face of a Nubian god. Tyson is the current spokesmodel for Ralph Lauren. Tyson Beckford has been immensely popular for over a decade; I know this because my little sister has always had a crush on him for at least 10 years!

Tyson isn't just a successful model; he is a talented actor and dancer as well. He has been in numerous music videos and movies. After reading his interview with Oprah Winfrey and his views on his near-fatal car accident, I am of the opinion Tyson is a very articulate, extremely driven, and highly spiritual man.

I predict that this new show will give America's Next Top Model a run for its money. I think that viewer's will prefer Make Me a Supermodel's choice to use viewer voting. Unlike America's Next Top Model, which has a panel of judges, Bravo's show will allow viewer's votes to determine who stays and who goes, like on American Idol.

Audiences love to feel involved in the "celebreality", and viewer voting helps to pull them into it. Another huge draw for audiences will be the fact that both sexes are competing on this program. Of course, we would love to see gorgeous guys in addition to the beautiful women! I think that Bravo's Make Me a Supermodel's combination of talented and beautiful co-hosts, and the viewer participation format will make this show a success.

I actually like this show very much. I wasn't sure I would, but it proved its possibilities. My only realy complaint is the same that I have with Top Model. I don't think you have to attack a girl because she isn't Twiggy thin. Beautiful is beautiful, no matter the size. We've got to expand our ideas of beauty before we totally destroy our children's (and their children's) self esteem.
