With big-name bookstore chains well established in the Oklahoma City area, Full Circle Bookstore remains one of the few local bookstores left that sells new books.

Full Circle has the ambience of a library from an old house or castle. It has huge wooden shelves, floor to ceiling (and high ceilings), with ladders and step-stools to reach the highest shelves. There are multiple rooms, nice rugs, and wood floors. It is a cozy, inviting environment.

Part of the cozy ambience can be attributed to the small café situated in a corner of the store. The café serves a selection of drinks and coffees, as well as sweets. The café also has WiFi, so people are welcome to study in the café area.

The staff members in the store are approachable and personable; they don't hover, but are available when they are needed. Plus, they are not only knowledgeable about the store layout and what is available in the store, they are also avid readers and can make recommendations about books.

Full Circle Bookstore also has a customer appreciation program. Basically, each customer is given a card with thirty slots in it. Every time you spend ten dollars, you get a stamp. When the card is full, you receive thirty dollars credit in the store. The employees also keep a record of the credit in the store so if you lose your copy, they will be able to look it up for you.

Another great aspect of Full Circle is that the store often has community events. For instance, sometimes it has local guitar players come in. The store also brings in authors for book signings once in awhile. They also have a table specifically set up for local authors. In other words, they are involved in the community and encourage others to be as well.
