In the new century, online dating is so common and it can be a fun and excited experience. It is an extremely rewarding experience for ladies of all ages. Thanks to the new century technology.

I had witness few successful online dating couple that happily married. But there are friends who have cheated by the men through online dating.

So I would suggest ladies who practice online dating to ensure their safety before anything happened.

How to protect yourself during online dating? It is actually simple. Ladies must remember to use common sense and judgement as in the real life experience when dealing with online dating. Online dating safety rules will be the same for the real life dating rules. It is the same principle that you must know and learn to protect yourself.

In the real life dating rules, would you give your personal particulars such as your name, address or phone number to the man you meet in the bar or street? Ask yourself before starting any online dating. If your answer is NO, then why would you give all the personal details to the man you meet online? The answer is still the same.

How you protect yourself from the strange guy you meet in the bar will also be applied in the guy you meet online.

As ladies, we must be careful when dealing with this issue. Yes, the man you meet online or offline might become your prince charming but before that I would suggest you to get to know him in person before sharing anything in details with him. With all your personal particulars, he might be able to trace your location and trap you! If he is your real prince then he will always be there for you when the times come!

Not revealing your true identity is not an indication for you to cheat your identity from the men you meet online. You can share with them the general info but not specific! Don't ever tell the men you meet online the place you work. You can tell them you are working as public relation executive in an advertising company. But do not share with them the name of your company and your company address or telephone number. Same for your house address. You can share with him your residential city but not your exact house address. Be cautious!
