The Ten Best Cobra Characters from the GI Joe Movie

Paramount Pictures began casting for the GI Joe film this week and announced that the GI Joe film will begin filming in February. There hasn't been any mention of which GI Joe or Cobra characters will be in the movie but I thought I would count down the ten best Cobra characters. Hopefully Paramount Pictures is out there watching and they use most of these characters in the GI Joe film.

10. Serpentor
The Serpentor reign wasn't as entertaining as the Cobra Commander reign but Serpentor does have one big positive. Out of all the characters in GI Joe Serpentor was the only one that ever got his own catchphrase: This I command!

9. Baroness
The Baroness is like the Smurfette of Cobra. Baroness is the only female! If Cobra wants to reproduce their only option is the Baroness but the Baroness doesn't comply, fortunately for the rest of us.

8. Croc Master
Croc Master was never in the GI Joe cartoon, just the GI Joe comic book. Croc Master was one of my favorite characters only because he had a cool mask and a pet crocodile. Sometimes it's the simpler things in life that make us happy.

7. Cobra Commander
Cobra Commander is dumb, irresponsible, immature and incompetent. All these things makes for extremely entertaining characters though. Admit it, if George W. was only a cartoon character and not the leader of the free world you would all find him entertaining.

6. Nemesis Enforcer
Nemesis Enforcer was the biggest and baddest out of all the characters in GI Joe. Unfortunately Nemesis Enforcer only made one appearance in the GI Joe movie but it was a mighty great appearance.

5. Tomax and 4. Xamot
When children are young they often wish they had an older or younger brother or sister. All I ever wanted was an identical twin with a scar on the side of his face that fell down every time somebody punched me.

3. Zartan
Zartan was awesome because out of all the Cobra characters he was the only one that ever outsmarted GI Joe. While Cobra Commander and Serpentor's plans were always being spoiled Zartan constantly tricked GI Joe and got away from at least thirty captures.
