According to Skiwinterpark.com, Winter Park Ski Resort in Colorado has 3,060 total skiable acreage, includes 143 designated trails and 1,212 acres of off-piste terrain, including Vasquez Cirque and glade skiing. Here is an overview of the ten best trails to ski, broken down by skill level.

Beginner

If you ride the Prospector Express tram up to the top, you will be at the Jack Kendrick trail. This trail is a great beginner's run. It only has a slight curve around the mountain and is relatively short.

After warming up on the Jack Kendrick, head over to the Super Gauge Express tram and ride it to the top. When you get off, hit the Whistle Stop trail. This beginner's trail is a fairly straight, quick run that is usually a smooth trip.

When you are ready to ski a relatively long trail, head over to the High Lonesome Express tram. Ride this to the top and head west to the Village Way Drop. This is just past the Switchyard. The Village Way run is a great beginner's trail that offers a long, winding trip down to the base of the mountain.

Intermediate

If you need a short run to warm up on, get on the Pioneer Express and ride the tram to the top. You will want to get off and take the Stagecoach trail down to the Big Valley trail and you'll be back at the beginning of the Pioneer Express tram.

Make your way over to the Olympia Express tram and at the top you will be at the Mary Jane trail. This trail is an exhilarating, slightly steep intermediate trail that will really get the wind in your hair.

Next you should get on the Super Gauge Express tram and ride to the top. Here you will want to make your way to the Bluebell trail and ski this run down to the Panoramic Express tram. This tram is North America's highest 6 person chair lift. When you get to the top, you will be at the Parsenn Bowl, where you will find the Forget Me Not trail. You won't forget it!

Expert

Take the Challenger tram up to an area that is full of challenging trails for experienced skiers. Here you will find the Sleeper run, a great warm up for those who are skilled skiers.
