The show is about to begin. Droid is moments from the stage, and I'm about three rows back, center stage, when I hear "Watch out!" I turn around to some girl hunched over in agony from the vomit she was spewing all over my shoes! She left, and the band came on. They were "OK," but I don't want to sell them short since that's the only time I've ever seen them.

Droid's turn is over and Five Finger Death Punch is up next. They come on with some dark dramatic entrance, and they turned out to be alright after all.Still, it's obvious that these bands are NOT why everyone is here. These boys completely tear it up, and you can just feel the anxiousness rising in the crowd.People are just waiting for Korn, and you can tell they really don't care about seeing these other bands.Five Finger Death Punch finishes their act and it's almost like we all are relieved that there isn't much longer to wait for the real reason we all came tonight.

Dun Dun Dun......Then we wait, and wait, and wait, and wait some more for KORN.The radio people bring the contest winner on stage and announce that the band will be out shortly.Probably five or ten minutes after the contest winner got his moment in the lights, KORN tore it up!Between all the moshing, rescuing girls suffering from heat strokes and collapsing on my vomit shoes, I did have a moment to step back and watch the crowd. As soon as they played "Blind" everyone went nuts, and of course I headed for the chaos!I couldn't tell you much more than the fact that they did play their new one, "Evolution", "Fagot", "Freak on a Leash",and many more.

The music was great ,and so was the crowd.Jonathan had his signature mic stand and was sporting a kilt, of course, Jonathan Davis is such a captivating singer that it actually causes heart palpitations from the thick emotions he layers over you during a show.Davis is touring by himself for a month or so,and should be back in Vegas at the House of Blues, all acoustic baby!He will be performing some stuff he never has before, as well as "The Queen of the Damned" tracks, and a few others, too.
