Maintain Your Good Health Without Going Broke

People today are living longer and maintaining health longer than ever, and we like that!  Oftentimes we look to various health supplements in order to solve our health problems, or to help maintain optimal health.  It can be very confusing to figure out what to take, which brands to trust, and how many supplements we need.  If a person isn’t careful, you can spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars on supplements that you’re not even confident is helpful to you!   





As a student of natural health I have adopted some guidelines for choosing how to supplement in a way that maximizes the benefits, and minimizes the waste of money. 




First, look at your diet.  We already buy food, so why not buy more of the things that will help us maintain our health?  A diet rich in raw vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds is one that will help your body help itself.  If you can buy organic, all the better!  If you can reduce or eliminate sugar and refined grains from your diet, you will be at an even greater health advantage.  So often by simply reprioritizing our diet, we can become healthier for the same amount of money.  An added benefit to this is that we already know that our food is readily absorbed into our bodies through our digestive system.
