Do you know of someone that has an infant and their child eats baby food? Now instead of tossing baby food jars in the trash, you can create a stunning Christmas tree display from baby food jars. This is not only a fun craft but it is an excellent way to recycle baby food jars.

This project takes about two hours to complete and is inexpensive if you use recycled baby food jars. You will need a well ventilated area to complete it.

I do not recommend this project for young children because a box cutter and wire clippers is used and electricity. This is a fun craft to do with teens on a cold winter day or rainy day.

Making a Christmas tree out of baby food jars will give teens something to do while also providing you with a great Christmas holiday decoration. You can display the decoration in front of a window or even in front of a glass mirror.

How to Make Christmas Tree from Baby Food Jars

The first step in making a Christmas tree from baby food jars is to lay out the newspaper in a large work area. Make sure that windows are cracked and preferably a fan is running for proper ventilation. Next, select the spray paint color of your choice.

Spray paint each of the baby food jars and the baby food lids on the outside. Do not spray paint the inside of the jars or the lids.

Allow the jars and lids to dry completely before you continue with the Christmas tree from baby food jars project. Some people choose to wear gloves and a painter's mask when spray painting the jars and lids.
