Budget templates can be found on financial software programs, all over the web, or at your accountant's or tax professional's office. Get one, or create your own, and use it. It needs simply to compare your monthly income to your expenditures, which are divided into several spending categories (shopping, utilities, etc.). Identify the areas in which you can spend less and free up money. You will need the extra cash for the next piece of the puzzle.
The Debt Plan
Many good strategies to attack credit card debt are available; which strategy is chosen is secondary to the actual choosing of a strategy. This is a key point, so I will restate it. Of the many credit card debt elimination plans, one will certainly fit your situation. But you must choose, and you must stick to the plan you choose. Sometimes, that is the hardest part.

Now you have a budget that helps you better allocate money to apply to your credit card debt. You have a good plan of attack that makes your dollars and efforts more effective. All that is left is to be committed enough to your financial future to complete your goals.
