I bought the Polaroid Ion digital camera brand new in box for $4.95 on Ebay. Usually they sell for about $20, so I was lucky. There are very few features on this digital camera to worry about. You can point and shoot, then upload the pictures to your computer for all to see. It comes with the Ion digital camera driver, digital imaging and editing software, Microsoft Networking, Adobe Acrobat reader, and user guide all on one CD. When you install the software on your computer, it allows you to decide what to install. To get full use of the Polaroid Ion digital camera you must install the Polaroid Ion digital camera driver and photo imaging software. The other software is optional. It allows you to choose what you want by simply clicking a box of options during setup. Entire setup was easy, taking about 5 minutes. In addition, the camera came with everything I needed. It was packed with 2 AAA batteries and USB cord.
The Polaroid Ion digital camera is fun to own. It has very few features to worry about. It just has a shutter, lock, and mode buttons. To take a picture, you press the mode button to turn it on. Frame your picture and press the shutter button. It can't get easier than that. On mode screen you can choose high resolution, low resolution, continuous, clear memory and self-timer modes. It will also indicate how many images are remaining and if you have a low battery. The lock button is just to prevent unintended use of your camera. To take pictures it needs to be unlocked. Once you have taken picture with the Polaroid Ion digital camera, plug in USB cord and upload.
