Enjoy Bathing Your Dog
For me, I would feel bathing a dog is like bathing a baby. There is a proper method and way to do it. If you are doing it correctly then it will be easier and enjoying. But if you do not follow the method, then you will be headache when bathing your dog.
But I would feel bathing a dog needs to be more emphasis because if you are not careful during bathing your dog he might be at the risk of having infections.
Why and how your dog will be infected during bathing?
A very simple and good example will be if you are bathing your dog without closing his ears with large cotton ball. What will happen to your dog?
The water might end up enter his ear canals and contribute to ear infections. Where there will be constant discharge from the ears. And your dog will feel uncomfortable by keep on shaking his head.
How frequent your dogs need to be bath? It is actually very much depend on the breed of the dog you have. If you own a long hair breed dog, then bathing need to be carried out every two to four weeks time. Whereas for short hair dog, they need to be bath every one or two month's times.
Besides that, some people will bath their dog through the way it smells. You need to be caution when bathing your dog by the way it smells because some dogs are prone to repel mess compare to the others. So you might not have to shower them so often.
Please do not bath your dog everyday! Dog's skins are different from human skin. Many of the new dog owners do not realize that frequent bathing will grant to skin disease. As dog's skin is sensitive and regular bathing will loose the protective function layer. So, dogs will blow out on their skin because of frequent digestive upsets leading to diarrhea.
