Was Steve Erwin's Premonition Self-fullfilling Prophecy?

Steve Erwin always believed that he would die young. His wife Terri said that he wasn't morbid about it but just always knew that he would die young. After their first child was born he was more careful with his wildlife encounters. He loved animals and nature and wanted them to be protected.

Because of Steve Erwin I believe we all have had a greater respect for wildlife and their rights to inhabit this planet with the rest of us. I wish I had an ounce of his courage and ability to see the beauty in some of the most dangerous and ugliest of creatures. When he would pick up a tarantula or some other God awful scary looking beast, everything inside of me would scream. Steve could see the beauty in everything.

His oldest daughter wants to carry on his legacy and follow in her father's footsteps. I cannot imagine what life must be like for the Erwin family without Steve in it. His legacy will live on. His wife is writing a book about her life with Steve. I hope it helps her with the grief that she will always carry with her. I am sure she is able to remember their life together and have happy memories but there is no way she will ever be able to forget Steve and the wonderful life they shared together.

A friend of our's and her family were able to go to Australia and meet Steve and the Erwin family and even have an autographed photograph with them. She said that he was as friendly and charismatic in real life as he was on television.

Steve Erwin will live on in all of our hearts. I am sure he is swimming with the fishes, and climbing witht he monkeys and just waiting for all of us to join him on a brighter happier side someday. I know you are with God Steve Erwin. Thanks for the memories.
