We've seen those who place there best china on display on the dining room table. What a gorgeous table setting. Everyone that walks through the door will see that there's nice china. They will see that the china is color coordinated and matches the décor. No, you're not allowed to eat from the delicate china. Mother would kill you if you got a thumb print on them. Dare not break or chip a cup or you'll be in serious trouble. The only guests allowed to use these plates are the Dust family.

Who do you know with a china cabinet? Once again china is displayed on shelves perhaps being highlighted by spotlights. Grandma really wants to make sure we see these dishes and her antiques. It's as if they're on stage ready for the grand performance. That's if she allows the china to move from the shelf to the dinner table where actual dinner is being served.

China, plates, saucers, dinnerware are easy to find. Shop at thrift stores, flea markets, dollar stores, discount department stores, yard sales, and internet auctions and stores. You can find a variety and save a lot of money on china by shopping at these types of stores. Get free china from family and friends. Surely, they won't mind getting rid of mix match dishes or those that are no longer being used. You more than likely have plates and saucers in your own cabinet that you can add to your décor.

China is more than just serving a meal. Here are some ideas to decorate your home with your china.

Hang plates on the wall of any room. Arrange your plates or saucers with one color to create a monochromatic theme. An example would be variations of the color blue and etc...This can really be dramatic. Plates have so many great designs and patterns. Group them by designs or shapes. Bright colors to muted colors can fit in any room. Purchase hanging metal plate racks to assemble plates. This usually holds three to five plates. Use a small wooden or metal shelf or numerous shelves on one wall. Nail copper headed or rustic nails into wall to rest plates. Hang plates or saucers over the arch of a doorway or a window to accent.
