In order for any relationship to work and be fulfilling all aspects, or things, must be balanced. This article specifically pertains to all of the many things both listed and not listed above. When you spend time with the one you love you have a chance to fulfill all of marriages many needs. All of your many needs, and all of your spouses needs too. For families, your children will benefit from the time you spend with your spouse! Let me explain how...
I am going to include children in this article for just a minute because many of the couples out there have a family. Look at it from a child's point of view. When Mommy and Daddy don't talk to each other or do anything together kids notice. When there is a silence, a thick stressful atmosphere, and a "coldness" in the air the children feel it too. Silence is the opposite of communication. When couples don't spend time together there is no chance for communication to occur. A stressful atmosphere is caused by unsaid words, unshared thoughts, angers, regrets, unfulfilled needs, wants, and desires...etc. Children feel but don't understand. The see but don't grasp. The whole family suffers when there is a stressful, silent, cold atmosphere in the home.
