No matter what your little one wants to become for Halloween; rather it be their favorite cartoon character, a three eyeball monster, their favortie football player, or a fire fighter, lets make sure that every single one of them are safe this Hallows Eve. Here are just a few tips making sure your child's Halloween is not only fun but also safe.

1) Children should be accompanied by an adult while trick r treating, but if your older children should be out alone make sure to plan out a route for them before they leave the house. Make sure they know exactly where to go and not to and make sure you know where they will be. Have your child carry a flash light with them and a pocket of quarters in case they should need to call home.

2) Everyone should carry a flashlight with them when out in the streets at night.

3) Don't snack while trick r treating. Wait till everyone is home and all the candy has been checked.

3) Stay on the side walks and in familiar neighborhoods.

4) If you have pets make sure to put them up for the night. Sometimes animals can get scared and we don't want them running into the street to be hit by a car or to bite a small trick r treater.

5) Have your yard cleared and cleaned so that small children will not trip or run into things on your property.

6) Think about using powered candles instead of real flame.
