Young's Food Town is located in Laurelville Ohio. Laurelville is a small town, and if you require groceries Young's is your only option, unfortunately. A most unpleasant man named Brad Young owns most everything in the village of Laurelville. It is only a matter of time before the entire village is renamed Youngsville, after the man who owns everything.

Young's Food Town offers a deli, bakery, bank and pharmacy. This is a medium sized grocery store, and unfortunately as people have no alternative to shopping at Young's, everything is over priced. The selection of goods is mainly an off brand label called Our Family. Basically the food for sale at Young's is all-generic, and priced excruciatingly high. You cannot purchase a bag of apples at Young's; you must buy them individually. This would not be bad, except Brad Young charges an outrageous price of $1.20 per apple!

Young's Food Town makes a fortune off of marking up groceries to a sickening amount. Brad Young knows he can get away with this, as the nearest competitor is over twenty miles away from his grocery store. The employees at Young's Food Town are strange, as most Laurelvillian are. It is painfully obvious that new people rarely ever move in to Laurelville, or stop in as visitors.

Brad Young also owns the villages only gas station, Dollar Discount and the Laundry mat among other things. This man is unlikable; he is arrogant, rude and unpleasant all together. Brad Young or the nearby Sawmill employs most residents of Laurelville.

Laurelville is home to the Old Time Fireman's Festival every July; this is the activity that attracts visitors to Laurelville. There is basically no crime to speak of in Laurelville Ohio. The village has a small police department to keep Brad Young safe.

Johanna, I feel YOU are narrow minded, where do you think we live? This is a small town and in case you don't know; these are hard times since the price of gas is over $4.00 a gallon in most areas, also, all those SO called generic brands you are speaking of are made by the top name manufacturers in this country they are just labeled as another product because they have purchased the rights to that name brand. Get real, this is the real life, most of us are not rich! Judge for yourself. Don't believe the hype!!!! This lady obviously has some other issues for being angry...it takes all kinds to live in this world and she is just another one of those! To all those who read this: Have a wonderful day, free of opinions.... b/c opinions are just that, opinions! We all have one & most of them stink! Have a happy and stress free life! Enjoy what life has to offer, don't let other peoples opinions sway you from having a quality life. :-)

I attended Laurelville Local school for eleven of my twelve years of high school. I don't believe I know any chronically rude people down there. BUT, I believe I might be one of the slow-moving, t-shirt wearing, residents talked about in a different article. Maybe I was just too country to catch on to their rudeness. LOL Lighten up!
